The second volume of Time Life's massive nine-disc ode to the classic love songs of the '70s features 30 tracks over the span of two discs, all of which dutifully encompass the hazy glow of '70s soft rock, easy listening, and AM pop. Star-crossed lovers looking to provide the optimal soundtrack to their own private fondue party will find much to love on the appropriately titled Lovin’ You, which features affectionate jams from the likes of Dan Fogelberg (“Longer”), the Hollies (“The Air That I Breathe”), and John Denver (“Sunshine on My Shoulders”).
