Part 1: The Best of Scotland
A look back at Timothy West and Prunella Scales' waterway travels in Scotland - a coast-to-coast adventure that started in Edinburgh and ended on the edge of the North Sea, where monumental equine sculptures now line the route and state-of-the-art boat lifts have replaced the humble lock. The couple also travelled along the Caledonian Canal, which links Scotland's east and west coasts, was built for ocean-going ships and comes with scenery that is rugged and stunning.

Part 2: North of England
A look back at Timothy West and Prunella Scales' waterway travels in Lancashire and Yorkshire - including the Rochdale Canal and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The pair also reminisce about the Lancaster canal, which led Pru back to her roots as she visited the village of Near Sawrey, where her family lived during much of the Second World War and which had another very famous resident - Beatrix Potter.
